When Mike and I made the decision to supplement it had a lot to do with the information I read about the decline in nutrients in crops. The example below shows the difference between crops in 1950 compared to those in 1999.
Our Grandparents were eating much more nutritious food than we are because today's crops just don't have the same nutritional value.
